Winter is upon us and stouts abound, particularly at Fort George Brewery in Astoria, OR. They are celebrating stouts for the entire month of February with 14 stouts including Coffee Girl Stout, Murky Pearl, Bourbon BBL Cavatica Stout and more.

Their Brewery + Public House as well as the Lovell Taproom will have the stouts pouring from their taps. For those who want to test their tasting abilities a Blind Taster Tray of eight stout will be available. If you can guess all eight of them correctly you win and even if you can’t you’ve already “won” with eight tasty stouts.

The culmination of the festivities falls on Saturday, February 16th with their Festival of the Dark Arts. In addition to 40+ stouts from Fort George and beyond there will be a blacksmith forge, tarot card reader, live music, dancers and more. They’ll also be releasing a Limited Edition 4-pack of Rye Barrel Aged Cavatica Stout in 16 oz cans at the festival. This 9.2% ABV beer was aged for six months in Heaven Hill Rye Whiskey barrels from Kentucky and the 4-packs will be available only at the festival.
