The Taplister team has been busy collecting your feedback, and we’re happy to report that the all-new Taplister.com and Taplister iPhone app are launching in just a few weeks. The new Taplister makes it easier than ever to Discover Craft Beer™.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the new features we know you’re going to love:

• More cities: You asked for it, and we delivered. Taplister is now nationwide – now you can update tap lists at thousands of bars and restaurants. We’ll need your help making sure these lists are up to date.

• Better iPhone application: We’re re-launching the Taplister app with location awareness and other cool new features to help you find your favorite beers, find nearby bars and most importantly, quickly update tap lists.

• Taplister Ambassador program: We love it when you help spread the word about Taplister, add new beers to the site, and update tap lists. We’re going to make it even easier for you to get involved with our community – stay tuned for more details.

And here’s a quick list of what’s changing:

• Tap lists are now updated via Taplister.com and the iPhone app, and no longer via Twitter. Updating tap lists via the Taplister site means a more accurate, more comprehensive list of craft beers on tap.

• Good bye, Android. We’re dropping support for Android users (for now) – but don’t freak out! Taplister.com looks awesome on your smartphone and you’ll get all the same bar search and tap list updating features that way.

• Since we’re no longer linked to Twitter for updates, you’ll need to create a new Taplister account using your email address to log in.

Bar owners, here’s what you need to know:

• Meet the Taplister Digital Beer Board™: Turn any HDTV into a digital beer menu. Update your beer menu board in real time from your phone or iPad or computer, choose from several cool designs, and drive sales with our simple in-store display system. Learn more about the Taplister Digital Beer Board™ here.

• Yes, you’re on Taplister: We’re now partnered with Foursquare to bring Taplister to tens of thousands of new bars and restaurants. When we launch, you’ll be able to look up your bar on Taplister, claim it, lock your tap list and update your menu yourself.

• Update your tap list via Taplister.com or the new Tap List Management System: We’re now letting you claim your bar and manage your beer menu and bar listing via our dashboard, which works on iPhone, iPad or a PC. Read more about Taplister for bars and restaurants here.

• An all-new Taplister.com: Taplister.com now works as well on your phone as well as it does on your PC. Claim your bar, update your tap list, update your listing and publish your menus from one site.

• Publish your beer menu and get discovered: The Taplister tap list management system lets you maintain one beer menu that works on Taplister.com, your in-bar digital beer board, and your own web site with our widget. And, Tweet your listings every time you change a tap.

• New partnership with RateBeer: When you update your beer menu with Taplister, you’re now accessing the most comprehensive database of craft beer online – RateBeer.com. Our partnership with RateBeer also brings goodies like IBU, ABV and RateBeer’s score for each beer.

From all of us, THANK YOU for using and supporting Taplister.
