Oregon Brewers GuildNow in its seventh year, the Oregon Brewers Guild presents the Cheers to Belgian Beers beer festival April 19 and 20. The event will offer nearly 50 beers including those that have been aged, blended barrel aged and soured and be held at Metalcraft Fabrication, makers of brewing systems and fermentation tanks for brewers in Oregon and across the United States.

The event was conceived to help introduce Oregonians to the breadth of style and flavors of beers brewed in Belgium. Originally each brewery used the same yeast strain and a dart throw was done to determine the whether the beer would be dark or light in color and low or high in ABV. Those restrictions have since been lifted to allow brewers to showcase their award winning beers.
