FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Below are some of the common questions people ask when registering for Taplister.
If you have a case or keg level package, email email@example.com and let us know the name of your business and we will email you the API key with instructions.
The TV size needed to display your tap list depends on several factors. Location, number of beers on tap and size of a space will help determine the TV size required. We recommend 50″ to 60″ HD (LCD or LED) TV’s though smaller TV’s can work as well. Typically around 15-18 beers fit nicely on a TV.
Due to various regulatory state liquor laws, prices may not show up even if you have enabled them in your beer editor. We have made pricing information available for you to list on the Printed Menus, website and Facebook widget.
An API lets you take your tap list data and stylize it in a way that looks better with your website or brand. This would be used instead of the website widget.
Any Internet enabled device which can project a HD image via HDMI will be sufficient We do however recommend Google Chrome devices as they tend to be low cost and low maintenance to operate. No. Only the Manager of your Taplister venue page is able to upgrade the Taplister account. If you are an Editor, the Billing tab will not be available to you.
The Zones feature of the Digital Beer Board only supports one graphic to be displayed on all screens. If you have multiple screens set-up in your establishment, the same graphic will be displayed on each screen.
No. Zones and Rotate features only support the Digital Beer Board in Horizontal mode.
Declines can happen for a variety of reasons. When we submit a charge to your bank, they have automated systems that determine whether or not to accept the charge. These systems take various signals into account, such as spending habits, account balance, and card information like the expiration date and CVC number.
Since these signals are constantly changing, a previously successful card might be declined in the future. Even if all of the card information is correct, and you previously had a successful payment, a future charge can still be declined by a bank’s overzealous fraud systems.
Looking for a bar that isn’t in our database? There are two reasons why it might not be found:
- The bar isn’t in Foursquare, our database of venues. Go to https://foursquare.com/search, and make sure – if the location isn’t in their database, you’ll see a link to Add the Place to Foursquare
- The bar is in Foursquare, but not on Taplister. This might be because the bar is listed in Foursquare as a “restaurant,” or something else that isn’t a bar. Please let us know that you’d like to be on our site and we’ll see what we can do!
