In Beer, Videos

Der Rheinlander restaurant celebrated 48 years in Portland with a Guest Appreciation and Open House on April 30.  It was a great event, with a free buffet and free beer and wine.  The line for food was long, but were entertained with music from the roving accordion player and singing waiters.  There was also beer tasting with reps from local distributors serving tasters of many delicious German beers from breweries such as Riesdorf, Weihenstephaner, and Eku.  If you are looking for good German food and beer with the feel of a real German village, Der Rheinlander is still the place to go.  If you’re looking for more of a pub atmosphere, but still want that great food, Gustav’s is right next door.

You know the place is legit, if they are still in business after all of these years.
