Hi beer lovers,

We’ve got four awesome things to report today.

First, we’re out of beta, and off and running. With more than 9,000 beers on tap, we’re on the fast track to becoming the largest real-time database of beer on tap in the U.S. Give us a hand and update some taps when you’re out tonight!

Second, we’ve made a few major improvements since we launched our beta a few weeks ago. Now, you’ll find even more cities than before (heck yeah, Iowa City, IA and San Jose, CA!); more venues, including restaurants and gastropubs (we’re talking about you, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema); and better searches (now we’ll show you venues with beer on tap first, followed by everything else).

Third, we’re a few days away from an update to our app for iPhone – you’ll be able to update taps from the app, and we’ve gotten rid of a bunch of pesky bugs.

Great American Beer FestivalAnd fourth, it’s almost time for the Great American Beer Festival! If you’re in the Denver area, come on out to our launch party on Friday, October 12th from 3 pm to 5 pm at Freshcraft. Sierra Nevada, Green Flash, and Ratebeer will be on hand. We’d love to see you there, too.

Over the next few months, we’ll continue to further enhance Taplister based on feedback from our beloved beer-drinking public. So, thanks in advance for all of your help making Taplister awesome.

And in case you’ve missed our previous updates, you can read all about the brand new Taplister here. More importantly, visit or download the new iPhone app to check it out for yourself!
